Biography

Born in 1959 in Montreal, Quebec, Lorraine Gagnon is the fifth child of a family of six kids. Surrounded by her brothers and sisters, she grew up in a warm and loving family. After having completed her high school studies, she ventured out in the job market for a few years. In 1996, great changes came her way. That’s when her eyes opened up to a whole new world; she felt love of nature and passion for her art like never before. Guided by her inspiration, Lorraine began to create the foundations of a new, unique form of art. From 1997 to today, she still cultivates and develops her artistic talent today, with no less than 30 unique works of art under her belt, pieces she never thought of selling. In May 2009, her sister Ginette Gagnon came into contact with Mr. Louis Bruens, President of the AIBAQ. Thanks of his involvement, she accepted to join the Académie Internationale des Beaux-Arts du Québec as a Professional Artist (emerging artist). Today, one of her favorite activities is to talk a walk outside where she feels surrounded by love while meditating beneath a tree.
